MCDM Fellowship
The Master of Communication in Digital Media program at the University of Washington, is proud to announce it’s first fellowship program. This innovative program offers Fellows the opportunity to continue and expand the work they have done in the MCDM through active mentoring of incoming MCDM students and to continue their studies within the program’s academic offerings . In addition to the opportunity to update their technical, professional and academic skills, MCDM Fellows will also apply themselves to unique design challenges throughout their fellowship year. There will be six fellows chosen for the 2012-2013 academic year and one fellowship coordinator. All graduates form the MCDM are eligible, including those who will graduate in 2012.
Here is the timeline for the MCDM Fellowship Program:
- Call for application materials made April 23
- Applications due May 23
- Decisions announced June 15
- The first cohort of Fellows convenes at the end of June
- The first workshops lead by MCDM Fellows are offered in early September 2012
The MCDM is continually looking to update and reinvigorate its mission. It needs the powerful voices of its alumni to push the program into new challenges and opportunities.
